Home Grown

We had a very good year with our seeds and produce the potatoes were fantastic and tasted even better.
Here are two photos.



Above is part of the main crop of potatoes we dug them up half way through August and we are still using them for our meals. We also grew some long funny shaped salad potatoes which again was wonderful but nearly all out of those.



This is one of the sunflowers we grew from seed we had 3 sunflower seeds and 3 different colors. This was one, we had a pure yellow and we also had a deep bronze going into black.

That is one good crop of spuds...I am in awe!! I am inspired for nesxt year...still trying to get spring bulbs in!! I'm hoping the ground will be softer for a bit of rain!
